 All Hell Had Broken Loose!

When they met to dance their pain away

That musky uncontrollable night

Their feet were no longer stiff nor left

The vodka loosened and straightened them,

their tongues, minds and bodies too.

Their heads were no longer bent

Backs were straightened on

The spine wrecking  high seats clubs’ have

They were all loose now

When all hell broke loose.

They were all lose now

All hell broke loose.

Oblivious of the piercing cold outside

They warmed their bodies against each other

Engulfed by an unconscious joy of their drunkenness

Their eyes saw the dark night, uncolored with darkness,

Like a kaleidoscope, flickering lights, flinching shapes

Drunken feelings soared in them like a carthasis

They screamed and shouted wildly

All hell had broken loose

When they met that night

Under a dimly lit street, both shaking with fear

Ready to flee, they exchanged the information

And fled to well-lit streets

Evil regime had decided to shoot and bomb innocent kids

On a normal night

Children would play, ran and fall with laughter

Cooling their bodies in the cold night breeze

They would point their fingers upwards shouting, “Fireworks!”

A normal night

A happy night

Oblivious of pain

No agony

But this was not a normal night

All hell had broken loose!
