Gava inamada mayouth na ndo future

Ilibidi mayouth watake to the streets kuchachisha

New generation inalia its time we looked at the bigger picture

Devolution imeisha

The revolution is now na si later!

Out with the old, in with the new agenda

Tuko na guts za kuwaface ata wa put guns in our faces

Ju, Kenyan lives matter

They have us by our throats far too long

Now it’s the time they gave us some breathing space

Na juu, wamelala kwa kazi

The only time wanaamka ni kuraise their sitting allowances

Na ju, bei ya unga imepanda

Its amazing how they conned us

Ona sahii tunazidi kukonda wao wakiunga

Na juu, economy iko juu,

With every rising sun, kuna new tax inafaa ilipwe

Its made it hard for mothers

Ndovu imeshindwa ata kubeba its own task

Na juu,

Bado ,mapambano, mapambano, mapambano

Bado ,mapambano, mapambano, mapambano

Bado ,mapambano, mapambano, mapambano

Bado ,mapambano na ndo ikabidi tukaingia maandamano

Placards sikisema, hii tax ni abnormal

Our voices raised high

Chanting in unison, No!

No to puppet leadership!

No to corruption

No to endless taxation

Yes to freedom!

For yes sisi ni wakurugenzi kwa hii nation

We are young,

We are wild

Yearning to be free

We are now the new Wakuru – Genz
