I cry for my beloved country

I cry for my own failings

I cry for those who sacrificed

Their peace, their families, their lives!

So, that my Gen X

Would know a peaceful state!

I cry that my children

And, those of my peers

Are now in the streets

Fighting and Dying to rescue

The sovereignty of our Nation!!

I mourn for all those who’ve died today!

I grief with their families!

I cry for our children!

I cry for the burden we’ve given to them!!
