Nataka kuimba a brand new song
Nataka niwe na lyrics haziko wrong
And I don’t care ita last for how long
Since tumeimba the same song for so long
Wanasema old is gold but aaaah!
No need for same songs with same mistakes
I’m not saying that a new song itakam na new mistakes but all I need is a brand new song
A brand new song that will revive our forgotten glory
A brand new song that will remind us of our past struggles and how our predecessors fought for what they believed in

I want a new song that will remind the system that we will not relent on this wickedness shown to us
Nataka niingie kwa studio mike zifeel like this has never happened before
Nataka producer aniambie: Manze that’s so creative
Nimshow hakuna creativity hapa hizi ni vitu zimekua inspired na injustices from the police
Delayed cases by our courts and illegal and unlawful demolitions by the state
Nataka producer akiweka beat, words za song yangu zimfanye akue so angry about the corruption perpetrated by our government
Hadi akue so passionate in giving a track yenye ita track every wrong the system imeficha kwa ma files in their big offices Halafu iattract the masses into saying enuff is enuff we want change
Na sio change yenye unapewa kwa duka and then ukifika kwa next shop unaitumia unabaki bila change
Tunataka change yenye iko so defined hadi si wenyewe hatuwezi tukaichallenge
Yeah that’s how brutal I want my song
To be so brutal that the brutality of the police haitaweza kuizima
So amazing that every like-minded citizen atataka kukua part of it
So revolutionary that generations watataka kuisave kwa maktaba that watoto wao watakua na pride ya kubelong

Nataka kusing a brand new song
Yeah, a song yenye haijawahi imbwa before
I don’t care kama itakuwa na chorus
Ama ntaifanya solo kama mtoi anafanya exam kwa class
Nataka nifanye song yenye ukikam performance unatoka ukiwa ideologically rich
Viva to community organising viva! That’s how far I want my song to reach

Nataka kuimba a new song yenye naeza imba nikiclap nai flow
Nataka niwe naeza snap my fingers na bado song haiwa bore
Song hata niki stamp my feet bado itaua show
I wanna do a song that I can fuse with only a guitar
Hebu cheza keyboard uone bado tuko fine
So indiscriminate my song will be hadi tunaimba na drumset pekee
A song that naeza imba na a complete band na bado ancestors wana understand

Nataka a new song yenye itarealize even the recent voices zenye hata hazijaandikwa kwa books za history
To all the creative minds and composers, help me come with a song that will mention names like
Caro Mwatha: “We are the eyes and the voice of the  community!”
Julie Wanjira: “If we lose our fear, they lose their power!”
By the time natoka studio nataka niwe na song ina recognise simple people
Like Ojango akisema wakenya mko njaa, anapata response ya masses ya over 500 wakimartch hadi tao wakisema
“No food, no elections!”
Hiyo ndio kind of song nataka kuimba
A song that will preach water and drink water.
Sio preaching water and drinking wine
Kwa hii song yangu niko ready kukolabo na any human mwenye ana champion for a just system
Kam tukolabo kama unabelieve katiba inaneed kutekelezwa
Come on everybody mwenye ana stand
Against GBV
Akili Mtu Wangu!
